About
Why we built Digital Islam Library
A non-profit effort to gather, preserve, and freely share the Islamic written and spoken heritage — accessible to every reader, in every language.
Our Mission
To make the depth of Islamic scholarship discoverable and free — a calm, trustworthy home where anyone can search, read, and learn without barriers.
Our Vision
A living library that spans languages, schools, and centuries — preserving the heritage for future generations and welcoming readers of every background.
Why this project
So much of the Islamic intellectual heritage remains scattered, hard to find, or locked behind paywalls. Digital Islam Library brings books, lectures, and scholarship together in one searchable place — with careful metadata, respectful presentation, and a search experience that meets readers where they are. Knowledge, we believe, should be a gift freely given.
